BS in Nutrition and Dietetics in the Philippines The Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics program (BS-ND) is designed to equip the students with competencies and skills in three basic areas of nutrition: Hospital Nutrition, Public Health Nutrition, and Food Service. Advances in these areas have increased the Dietician's role as a member of the health care team, and the program integrates students with the proper values and attitudes in the exercise of the profession.

A graduate of BS in Nutrition and Dietetics needs to pass the Licensure Examination for Nutritionist-Dieticians in order to practice the profession as registered Dieticians in the Philippines. The examination is given by the Board of Nutrition and Dietetics under the supervision of the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).

A graduate of BS in Nutrition and Dietetics needs to pass the Licensure Examination for Nutritionist-Dieticians in order to practice the profession as registered Dieticians in the Philippines. The examination is given by the Board of Nutrition and Dietetics under the supervision of the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).
Requirements for the Licensure Examination for Dieticians
- Must be a holder of a degree in BS in Nutrition and Dieticians with academic credits on required subjects from a university recognized by the Philippine government.
- Must have a copy of the Transcript of Records with Special order and date of graduation with remarks “FOR BOARD EXAMINATION PURPOSES ONLY”
- Must not have any case filed or pending for moral turpitude in any court in the Philippines that involves moral turpitude
- Must have an original copy of community tax certificate (cedula)
- Must have a copy of the NSO authenticated birth certificate
- Must be of good health and sound mind
- Must be of good moral character
- Must be at least 21 years of Age
- Must be a Filipino Citizen
